Lazy day..

sigh.. last paper coming liao.. but i am feeling so lazy. Guess its because the papers are too far apart. Now i feel so lazy to study. Did nothing much today. Have to buck up liao.

Today met Huimin n rena n went for dinner. Had a bit of discussion on Singapore's trend. We were at a hawker centre for dinner and we saw all those cleaners. I have always wondered quite a while ago that since the work force in singapore is getting so much more educated, with more people holding a dip n degree, who else is left to do all these so called "dirty" job. Whenever i see those old people clearing my plates for me, i feel so sad for them. They are even having problem walking and still have to work. I cant imagine what i will feel like when i see my Ah Ma walking working outside like that. Really glad for my Ah Ma that all my uncles n aunties are very filiah. I really hope that those old people are working because they are feeling bored at home or because they have no children. But i think that some of them are out there simply because their children refuse to look after them. OMG.. dun let me meet these people. I feel so sick at their behaviour. If not for their parents they wun be around. How can they jus leave them along to fend for themselves like that? I am uttering disgusted.

And talking about the more educated work force, we talked about kids having so much stress today. Sometimes i cannot help but feel fortunate to be born in my era. Any later i will be hating school like mad coz there is simply too much stress. But wat to do? Too much emphasis on good education in Singapore and all the parents are so kaisu.

Oh.. and we talked about time and how some people wished that they have 48 hrs a day. Actually i am very contented with 24hrs a day. I used to wish that i have longer hours coz i have so much to so and yet so little time. But i think what rena says is right. Time is only an arbituary unit. YOU gets to decide how long u want your days to be. I believe strongly in good time management. You can make your 24 hrs work twice as efficient as someone else's 24 hrs with proper time management.

haha.. sounds like quite a philosophical session but its quite interesting how weird and complicated life can be.
