The famous 4 arrows. You will not get to see this logo on students anymore. History... Some back ground regarding the arrow: The college philosophy is symbolised by the college motto, which is made up of four ascending arrows and a link, all in the colour of red. The soaring arrows focus our attention on the dynamic process of education, with each arrow being representative of a single characteristic depicted by our philosophy, whereas the linking of these arrows (being emblematic of good harvest) implies the need for a balanced personality in a community of shared ideas.

I wanted to write about how funny my lab session was today until i saw a friend's blog. She posted her favourite Hwa Chong songs and as i was singing one of the songs, tears jus came to my eyes. I like this song a lot too. Here's the lyrics. A very beautiful song.

I spend 1 and 3/4 years with Hwa Chong Junior College. Although i missed O1 and i really hated the first few months with Hwa Chong, i gradually grew to love the place. I do not have a great CCA but i had great classmates and friends and of course teachers. They are the ones who have been with me through the horrible period of A'levels. Really hated that super stressed period. Luckily i have my friends who laughed, cried, mugged, play basketball and swam with me. Miss you guys!! I missed all the school events then will sing all the super nice songs and have mass dance. No regrets leaving NJC.

Now that Hwa Chong has merged with Chinese High, Hwa Chong Junior College is now history. Will forever miss the place and the 4 arrows.
