weekend = blog time

this time next week i will be M'sia enjoying my holidays!!! yeah!! i am so looking forward to it..2 more papers cleared and 2 more to come. I will be free on the 24th at 12noon when the invigilator says stop writing.. woohoo!!!

anyway.. some updates abt my papers first... anyway.. side-track a bit first. coz i tot it was quite funny. Yesterday my dad asked me wat paper i taking tmr(which is today) den i dunno how to explain. How do you tell him principles and methods of structural biology? So i told him Maths paper since its rather near the truth as 303 got a lot of maths. Den he asked yesterday leh? Hmmm... i oso dunno how to tell him read research papers. Since its like english so i told him eng paper. Den he very funny.. coz he said.. den monday leh? chinese ah? haha.. i tot it was so funny coz i felt like a pri sch kid.. having eng and maths papers.. anyway.. back to the topic.

302: Research Seminars

this module basically teach us how to write and read research papers. so for the exam paper, we are supposed to read a paper and ans questions. We got to write an abstract in 100 words, a title (usually less than 10 words lah) and some comments in under 200 words regarding the contribution of the findings of this paper. The second part of the paper is some english and grammer questions which were all give-aways. Anyway.. the sian thing is that my lecturer, who's a very nice person, was super generous with marks. Effectively, i got 70 marks for writing abt 300 words. Coz abstract was 30 marks, comments 30 marks and title 10 marks. Hope he will be a nice person and give me good grades.

303: Maths paper essentially.

This module is very irritating coz it made me dug up all my maths stuff. Like complex numbers, integration and trigo. But.. his paper was alright lah. The maths part was quite okay. I think should be all correct. But the theory part was quite bad. I dun really know how to explain. sigh.. and MCQs are worth like 3 marks each. And NMR took up 30 marks when he only got 2 lectures. Wah lau.... hope i can score.. i need an A... desperately...

anyway.. i got 2 more papers... genetics and plants. All need my brain space coz got a lot of memorising.. esp plant.. felt like microbiology. I hope can do well.. i have a bad feeling abt genetics... sigh...
