I had another day with worms today! If last week was bad, i think this week is even worse or at least equally bad. I spent 2 hrs looking at worms! This time, we are not looking at them having fun or sex, but we are trying to look for mutated worms. Some are short n fat, some dunno how to move, some are too long and some have blisters on them. OMG... disgusting.. i hate c. elegans.
But, before we start looking for the mutated worms, we had to look at our worms from last week. OMG... those were the worst.. they gave me a shock of my life and made my hair stand, even as i am typing this coz their image jus popped into my head. We were supposed to find more worms on our plates coz we allowed them to propagate. And mind you, its not 2 or 3 worms more okay? Its 200 - 2000 worm per worm that you put onto the plate. I put like 4 so i have near to 8000 worms!!!!! omg... At first i thought my worms died coz i cannot see them with my eyes (some of them are actually big enough to see by the naked eyes). But my partner and I still decided that we should try and see. So i put them on the platform and start to focus. The moment the plate come into focus, i see dozens of long slimy worms crawling on the plate. OMG..... i was scared out of my life. I immediately pushed my chair away from the microscope and i refuse to touch that plate for the rest of the lab session. YUCKS!!! okay.. i wanted to post a photo but i cannot even stand looking at it. Interested ppl can type c. elegans and google for images.
But my weekend was quite nice. I went for Mr Jevin's 22nd birthday party on saturday and although i was complaining about it, i am pretty glad i went for the party coz i had real fun. Not that the party was nice, but the class was fun. I got to know the people in my class better, esp the guys.. Although i felt that my class guys are so damn childish at times, they are really very funny ppl to be with. They always like to joke around and its so fun jus listening to their crap.
Den sunday i went for tuition den amore class at Parco. But i think i sort of hurt my feet. It hurts quite a bit now. I hope it recovers soon so that i can go for my class on wednesday... I went to the Guan Yin temple to pray too. That temple is really very ling.... Not that i am very superstitiousbut some things are jus too coincidental to be true... And i bought a nice top from ebase. Considering whether to let that be my new year top but i feel fat in it.. but its very nice.. haha...
tmr's a busy day. I am still considering if i should go to school for lecture coz i am gg back to rv in the afternoon and its full u. Den in the evening i am meeting my jc gang for dinner... tired...
