hi everyone! i am back.. safe and sound after my lasik surgery on 09 may and the nerve wreaking presentation on 08 may. hehe....
my presentation was fine. it was better than i had expected except for a question for which i gave a wrong answer. sian diaoz..... anyway, i was glad that it was over. i was so nervous over the presentation that i could not sleep the night before.
my lasik surgery was very successful too. i still cannot see very clearly now especially at night. but other that i am very happy. =) doc says my eyes will take about a month to stablise and we will see if we need any touchups after 3 months. well... i hope we do not need any touch ups. i am scared. the procedure was very fast, about 15 min per eye, but it is very scary. afterall, they are cutting my eyes leh... thank god nothing happened.
all in all, i want to thank all my wonderful friends who have wished me luck for my presentation, even huiyi who wished me late. hehe... i hope i will not let you all down. *pray hard* and i also want to thank everyone who had been so concerned about my eyes. special thanks to my dear who took leave to go for the op with me and who sent me home and stayed with me. (this sounds like the asknowledgment page in thesis leh.. hehe.. )
