earthquake

oh my.... i got home from st john last night and read about the earthquake which hit asia.. its so bad... as of jus now on channel newsasia.. death toll is up to 22,000 with more injured and with more to come. Sri Lanka was so badly hit.. oh my... and more is expected to come with the afterwaves and more tsunami. It reminds me of my geography classes and how we were learning about earthquakes and stuff. Cannot believe that this is happening so close to home. I have always thought that Singapore will be affected by such things sooner or later coz plates are constantly moving. But i nv expect it to be so fast.

I was jus watching the channel newsasia on TV and saw all the pictures of dead people and its so sad. I see family members crying coz their loved ones are dead. Or worried ones who are unable to find their loved ones. Sigh.. life is really so unpredictable. A holiday turned into a nightmare for so many people. We should really treasure our loved ones right now. I cannot imagine wat will happen to me if any of my friends or loved ones were right in the disaster. I will probably jus collapse if anything happen to them.
