yeah! its the time of the year again. Do nothing, sit there and get money. haha..
This year i spent a lot of time on new year shopping. Bought 3 skirts, 3 shirts and 4 pairs of shoes. (",) I even bought the last pair on new year's eve. Haha.. omg... i no need to shop for the rest of the year liao. I jus finished buying everything.
Here's how my new year went:
New year's eve:
I self declared holiday. Supposed to have lecture but i decided to skip it to pack my room and visit Hwa Chong. After Hwa Chong i went orchard and bought my shoes and met huimin. After shopping orchard, we went down to bugis to buy my hair moose coz the Reds at taka do not sell. In the end, i reached home at 5pm and started to pack my room, my computer table and stuff until 9pm. Had steamboat dinner and laughed like mad over dinner with my relatives. After dinner, its a tradition to go temple to cross the Ping An Qiao (Peace Bridge) and to Waterloo Street to offer offering to Guan Ying. Got home at 3am. Den started painting my nails. So proud of myself coz i finished painting in record time as i only took 1 stroke to get it done.

New Year's Day:
Woke up at 8am. Finished painting my left hand. Quite fast oso. Den put moisturer on my feet and attempted to wear socks using 1 hand (as the other hand has wet nail polish). After my nails are dried, i changed to sleep on my bed till 10am. Bath, change and dress up to go to my Granny's (mum's mother) place. As usual, my siblings and i will take cab. Usually we have to wait ard 30 mins to 1 hr. But this year very fast as we only waited for abt 5 mins.
Arrived at my granny's place den ran into my uncle by the road. Luckily or i'll have 1 less ang bao. My granny's place do not have the habit of giving ang bao to ppl who are not ard. Unlike my dad's side.
Den we sat there, had lunch, eat junk, watch TV and disturbed the kids. Left there at ard 3pm. Wanted to go somewhere else but nowhere to go so we decided to wait till at night den ask if my cousins wanna go for KTV.
At ard evening time, all my relatives started coming back to my Ah Ma's hse. Eat steamboat den lao yu sheng. Wah lao.. this year yu sheng very irritating. I dun like my new 5th Auntie (my 5th uncle new wife). She's from M'sia den very rough loh. Lao yu sheng become throw yu sheng. Luckily i ran away fast or else my skirt will be gone.
After dinner, a few cousins (those older ones), my siblings and me decided to go KTV. After much considerations, we went to party world at orchard. My cousin drove his parents car and sent all 10 of us to orchard. Reached there at 130 and sang till 430am. Wanted to sing longer but my sister dun want. So we went back at 430 and reached home at ard 5 plus. Bathed and slept at 6am.
Second day of new yr:
Slept till 130pm. Den sat at home and rot whole day. Watched incredibles and ate a lot of junk. SO sian.... tmr still got school. Sigh...
going to count my ang baos liao... came at a great time coz i m super broke...
