class gathering on saturday

i cant believe i forgot to post this! This is impt.. gotta share with you guys. haha

On saturday, 19 feb 05, i had the first and probably the only class gathering this year for 4D'2000. This is a tradition and a must.. we always meet during new year to lao yu sheng and everyone will try their best to make it coz our class only gather once a year. This year we had the yu sheng at Wei Liang's house coz we tot that we should have a change in location since we always meet at JEC.. pretty boring..

Well.. the reason we always meet at JEC is that we have always been buying our yu sheng from the noodles house there. Since sec 4. Like Liyong said, our goal is to out-live that restaurant. (",) Anyway, the turnout this year was pretty good coz i managed to contact some of the PRCs and they helped to get other PRCs for the gathering. Felt so good. So in all, we have around 20 people? out of 31 ppl with 5 people not in singapore. So basically only 6 who are in singapore cannot make it. Hope to see them at the next gathering.

We had dinner (compliments of Wei Liang's mum who refused to let us help and refused to take our money). Its a very nice bee hoon, chicken wings and pizza which we ordered. And some jelly home-made by wei liang's mum and water melon and of course, our yu sheng. A very heart-warming gathering. During dinner, we took a lot of photos. still waiting for them to send it to me den i can show everyone. After dinner, we had too much drinks left that we decided to play zhong ji mi ma to finish the drink. It was so funny. Reminds me of last time in sec 4 when my class like to go to the bubble tea house to drink bubble tea and to play truth or dare.

After the game, we went up to wei liang's house and chatted a little while more. And we started talking about the sec sch days and our class chalets. Really missed those days! And after a little discussion, we decided to have another class chalet! somewhere in mid may. Looking forward to that day..

Overall, the night had a great night with great pals and good hosts (wei liang's dad even gave hong bao).

But.. in contrast.. 01S7A's class visit to the teacher's house had been horrible.. sigh.. only 3 pathetic ppl.. felt so paiseh when we got to the teachers' house. Mrs Wang even ordered pizza for us. Maybe my class should have less gathering den ppl will treasure the gatherings jus like my sec 4 class. And i can predict that less n less ppl are going to come for class gathering coz the guys are starting school and quite a number of them are flying overseas. In fact, already 4 are gone and a couple more are going away soon. That's the problem with being in a high-flyer school. Friends dun stay.. so sad..
