On Monday, I met my uni class to watch Andy Lau's show: Wait Till You're Older, 童梦奇缘. (Yes, i said met coz i skipped lecture). This show talks about family and life. It depicts Andy Lau as a boy who blames his father and stepmother for the suicide of his mother. And one day, he found this special potion that enables him to speed up the process of growing. By accident, the potion was spilled over an open wound and his life changed forever.
I especially love the phrase in the show that says "Life is a forward process". We cannot change whatever that has already happened, but all we can do is to make the best of the remaining time that we have. The show was super touching. I cried loh.. omg.. i haven cried over a show for a very long time liao. I strongly recommend all girls to watch this. Guys probably wun think that this show is nice.
After movie we went to far east plaze for chicken rice and then to have secret recipe's cake. Buy one get one free wor.... so here's the cake gang....
Our cakes... wow.. yummy.....we had 2 white chocolate macademia, 1 tiramisu, 1 raspberry cheese, 1 choc cheesse and 1 mango delight... and 1 big cup of barley...look at josephine.. she cant wait to attack the cakes already...
hmmm... after monday at orchard, i met lele to go orchard today again. Not that i want to keep going orchard lah.. but we have birthday presents to buy. We din wanted to have dinner but when we passed by Wisma's new food court (it's called food republic), we decided to try the food there since nv try before. I only ate the normal food lah and i din think it was very good but i like the place coz it very nice.... we got to sit by the window and see ppl walk by underneath. Next time i am going back there to try other food. Seems nice... *feeling hungry*
After food, we continued our quest for presents. Lele bought taka vouchers (they do not have expiry dates one leh.. so nice.. next time i can consider this as presents...). However, i did not managed to find the book nor the cd which my friend wanted. So sad...
Anyway, other than buying birthday presents, our main purpose was actually to buy jeans from Levi's. Dun scold me mad first. We are going Levi's coz i have 25% birthday discount as i am a member. Since this membership was shared with lele, we went to buy together. Initially, I tried the jeans at taka but i cannot stand the salesgirl's attiude so i nv buy. In the end we went heeren's and after trying so many pairs, i eventually bought the first pair that i tried . hehe... quote lele "why are you so fickle minded". I bought their new square cut jeans. I have been eyeing them since they came out. I bought Marissa (bootcut) but i have no idea in which demin coz they only have 2 to choose from at the store. But its nice lah.. and pretty comfy...
After Levi's we went to HMV and i saw this very funny thing.. haha... Look what they have done to Boa's face.. they dun like her wor.. they thought that the price tag is more interesting than her face. I was literally laughing my head off.. haha...
After HMV and i managed to psycho lele into not buying step sun's album, we found ourselves in the NIKE store... AND i saw this terribly nice bag.. omg.. i cannot find photo or else i will show you all. Its veryyyyyyyyyyyy prettyyyyy... omg... sigh.. and its not too ex for a nike bag.. argh!! but i got a lot of bags liao.. cannot... but its so pretty!!!!!!
lele offered to lend me money to buy coz i say i spend too much money liao.. no money already. but OMG...... i was so tempted. sigh...
side note a bit.. his gesture made me realised that i have a lot of good friends around me who always offers help when i need them. I am really very fortunate to have so many ppl around me whom i can depend on. Especially my family and friends. I haven been appreciating them enough and sometimes i tend to take them for granted. Anyway, jus to tell all my friends and my family members, i love you ppl! Thanks for being there with me through all my problems and joy.
well.. the nike bag ends the day of my second day of shopping at orchard.. missing the bag... sigh.. any kind soul wanna buy it for me??
