Wow.. i haven had an update for so long.. really very very lazy.. photos are coming up soon. Once i get ard to posting them here. Posting photos on blogspot very troublesome lah.. maybe i post somewhere else den let you all see.
Anyway, i went for 3 birthday parties this weekend, plus another 2 of my bestest friends which i will never miss for anything in the world, one of my cousin and a uni fren. Total of 7 in 3 weeks.
My cousin's 12th birthday party started off my chain of parties. Another big family gathering. I love family gatherings. So noisy and fun. The highlight of the party was this piñata in the shaped of some cartoon Duel Master. In case for old ppl like me who dunno wat's a piñata , you can check out it's history here. Anyway, its supposed to be a big empty thing filled with sweets and stuff. The game if to break the thing and to get the stuff inside lah. Dun sound interesting but its actually quite fun. Even old ppl like me enjoyed it. It feels so good to be young again.
The 2nd one was grace's party. Took us a very long time to get into the place coz it was so ulu and the fast took very super long to come. After that we realised why coz there is only 1 bus for the entire service. Anyway, it was at this temasek club. Jus a little appeal to all my dear frens, if for any case you all need a party or wat, please choose a more accessible place ok? Back to the party, the food was pretty good and the place was quite nice lah. We even got to play games like musical chairs and pass the parcel. Got forfeits one wor.. And we get party hats coz her theme was a madhatters' party. It was a really enjoyable party. After the party i met Joven to buy ailing's present. Settle in 30mins. haha.. so productive and ailing likes her present. But her card took us longer time to choose than her present..
The 3rd one was zhu8jie's party. She had it on the actual day loh. So happy that she decided to spend this special day with everyone. Joven and I were even super on time for the party loh. So proud of myself.. haha.. Anyway, we were all given a flower made by the birthday gal tt we were supposed to pin on our top. The st john gals were supposed to be her bbq kakis and we got special flowers. The whole night was quite busy coz the food a bit 供不应求. Not that there wasn't enough, but jus that we could not cook fast enough. After a whole night of bbq, we went out for KTV. Sang till 6am loh. The first time i went KTV with this bunch of gals. I was really amazed at a friend's singing power. She was so good!!!
4th party was Qiulin’s. She had it at her house and as usual, I was late and I dragged the guys down with me coz I was late for meeting the guys. I meant guys coz none of the 4D gals can make it for the party except pey yng but she's gg with CO. Her party was comfortable in the sense that i get a table and chairs. Quite nice catching up with the ppl since i din get to talk to them much during my party. And Qiulin liked her present. So happy... But sotong alvin revealed the price of the wallet in front of Qiulin which shocked her coz she tot it was too ex. Her present not ex lah. In fact, i had a lot of fun getting her present coz got a lot of sales even though her wallet was real hard to choose. We got her a sand coloured, braun buffel which was originally at 20% percent off but there is an additional 10% off for takashimaya VIP members. While py and I was making our way to the counter, this lady approached us and said that we can use her taka card in exchange for us to help her use her vouchers and pay her cash for it. I definitely dun mind coz we get another 10% off. We oso got her a book which she requested for. The book oso got discount coz I bought at popular and I have 20% off. I was so happy shopping for her present coz I am a real freak for discounts and we had so much discounts. I literally saved around $40 for her present. Happy day…
5th party and also the first party of the weekend was huiwen’s party. I went real late coz I had tuition and before tt, I was shopping for xiling’s present at Raffles City. Sigh.. I am always shopping for presents and paying for them and not getting my money back until I am so damn broke…The highlight of the party was at the cake cutting which I successfully managed to push her head into the cake a little…But the cream got into her eyes.. so sorry.. anyway, the cake was made by her friends loh, so sweet..
The next party was on sat and belongs to Ms Xiling. It was the only party I bothered to wear nice nice so far. I had real fun playing with xiaoxin loh. She’s so damn cuteeeeeeeeee…… And xl looks great in the pair of jeans we got for her. I hope she really likes it…I literally tried out the whole store’s jeans and had a long long phone conversation with mit before I settled on a pair for her.
My last party that I have attended was Amanda’s party. It was the first 7A party that I have gone to and its had a theme: A Venetian Affair. As expected, Amanda was the only one really in the theme and she really looked so pretty that night. For me, I 勉强 a bit tried to fit the theme by turning up in a lacy top. At first I din wanted to go but I thought that since she invited me, I should really give her some face. The party was in a super ulu place tucked right in the heart of sixth ave loh. Her parents booked the whole restaurant for the night and they paid a lot for each person loh. Rich ppl… Anyway, the food was real good!!!!!! I loved the tiramisu. OMG… its super super super nice…… Her cake was very nice too. There was also this party mask that was part of the deco that I really liked. Amanda’s father took it down for me and all of us had fun taking photos with it. I kind of enjoyed amanda’s party. Jus that it’s a very different class of party that I have attended so far…
I have 1 last birthday party to attend before it is the end of the year. Yeah!! No more birthday parties! But the coming up party is gg to keep me real busy.. quite sian.. I have already spent 1 day making banner for tt 大小姐.
