Okay.. I am guilty of not updating my blog often enough. Have been very busy and I am always too tired to blog when I get home.
Well, quite a number of things have happened these past few weeks. I seemed to have something on everyday. Take this week for example, Mon n Wed got tuition, Thurs I went to my uncle’s house and help him fix computer, today me got public duty, sat got tuition in the morn, an event in the noon and a dinner at night, den Sunday got tuition in the morning and a mahjong session in the afternoon. There goes my weekend…
These couple of weeks was very busy in the office. The place was like a mad house. Calls kept coming in and we were super short of staff. The moment the phone was down, it start ringing less than 5 seconds later. And the AUNTIES can still walk leisurely from one place to another. My gosh.. I literally ran can? Even from my seat to the photocopy room. I really cannot stand them. And the aunties hor.. like to bully the temp staff. Whenever it was their turn to retrieve the voicemail, they never seemed to be able to finish calling. And hor, got this ONE auntie, she can give us 6 pieces of voice mail at 530 and tell us to help her call. And even have the cheek to say that she’s on leave the next day. Idiot.. I do not mind calling for her but can dun give me at such a time? I hate leaving things undone. I remembered once when I stayed back to finish my calls and the next day I realized that we still have many undone coz the aunties only gave us that morning!! Argh…… Not only that, we are always blamed for everything and even framed for not making progress with our work. WTH… we have other things to do oso can? And the aunties are not helping much.. idiot… I am really amazed with my friend’s mother and my ex-supervisor. How can they stand such ppl for so long?? 1 month I already want to strangle them and they managed to work with them for at least a few years?
Talk about work makes me mad. I though office work would better but now hor, I think field might be better. Minus the house to house calls, at least I dun have office politics. Not that I m involved in anyway, but I jus cannot stand the ppl in the office. And hor, at least while I was doing field work, I dun have so much encounters with irritating ppl. Coz I was working at the officer, I literally have encounters with ppl from all parts of Singapore. And I only have 1 conclusion. Singaporeans are terrible ppl. Not everyone, but in general, Singaporeans are not the most polite kind around. If you are not going to like what I am going to say, please do not read on.
As I was saying, I get to meet all kind of ppl. And hor, because you are from the government, ppl are complaining to you and asking you to help. They kept saying that we are the government and we should help them. Some ppl are really very poor things but there is really nothing much I can do to help them. But at least they are still polite and nice ppl. SOME ppl are rich like siao.. live in private flats, bungalows and terrace and complain that progress package not enough, mrt fare so expensive blah blah blah… Siao ppl.. like I do not pay the same fare. And if you want a bigger progress package den move to a smaller house lah. Who ask you to live in such a big house? Serve you right… Not only that, there are ppl who say they are very poor and ask if we can help but hor, they are earning a couple of thousands a month. Not a lot, but definitely much better than those family without income. Sigh.. still got a lot more lah. I always meet weird Singaporeans.
Anyway, jus a couple of weeks more and I am no longer here.. counting down..
