Okay.. some light-hearted stuff... I was arrowed out by my friend to do this thing... so here are the questions:
1) whether I like female or male --
Depends on for wat purpose or wat kind of organism are we talking about.. haha...
For a lover, obviously I like males lah. My dear is a 100% complete male.. haha.. I cannot imagine kissing a girl.. ew... Plus I love to lie on broad shoulders and I prefer to hold a guy's hand coz they are bigger than mine (most). They make me feel safe and protected.
For shopping, I believe a female would be a better companion. Guys simply do not have the patience to walk through so many shops with me.
Other than these, for stuff such like kids or pets, I do not have a preference to males or females.
2) 8 criteria for my ideal partner --
hmmm, this is hard coz I think that my dear is my ideal partner but he does not have all the qualities that I want in a guy. I agree with what my friend said, loving someone means accepting the whole package including the flaws. You cannot say that you like this this this of him but not that that that of him and wish that he can change those that you do not like about him. But still to answer the question, I guess these are the things that I would look for in a guy.
1. This is very important. He must have 上进心. I can accept it if my bf is not highly educated but I cannot stand it if he just stays where he is and dun bother to upgrade or improve himself or even worst, wallow in self-pity when things go wrong. I detest 自甘堕落 ppl. Fate wants to get you down all the more you should stand up.... If he cannot even take a little setback, how am I supposed to depend on him?
2. He has to love me. A lot a lot.
3. We have to be able to communicate. I love to talk so I really really cannot stand it if I cannot get my msg across to my partner. And I hate to play mind games. I always lose one so I want my partner to be able to tell me what was wrong instead of having to make me guess.
4. He must love kids. I want children when we get married so my ideal partner has to love children too. Plus I have a lot of kids at home so he has to be able to accept my cousins too.
5. He has to accept my family. My family is an important part of my life even though I only got to realize this very late in my life. But I really love my family and all my extended family members (most lah... hehe). So my partner has to love them too. I will not be able to take it if my husband does not like my family and want me to keep away from them after marriage or what.
6. Character is also very important to me... He does not have to be a romantic or wat guy even though I think it will be nice if he can do sweet things for me once in a while. But I think my partner has to be a kind and understanding person. He also has to be dependable, sensible and mature. Well... I think I sort of eliminated all the guys in my class. Lol...
7. He cannot smoke, drink and gamble. Social drinking and occasional gambles are fine with me. But I absolutely cannot accept smoking.
8. I do not need a tall guy since I am not very tall plus I think too tall very hard to lie on his shoulders or to kiss him. But I want a guy with broad shoulders and bigger hands than mine so that I will feel protected lying on his shoulders or holding his hand. He has to be bigger sized than me too. I dun want to look fat beside him. And he does not have to be very handsome coz I m scared that girls will fight with me but he has to be pleasant looking.
9. I added this coz I think not enough.. haha.... I think the last thing is that we must have 缘分. I am a kind of superstitious person who believes in name and all the stupid rubbish so I think destiny is very important to a couple.
Well, actually I still have a very long list but I think I've mentioned the more important things to me.. haha... and come to think of it, I think my dear kind of fufill all my criteria. Even though I really cannot stand his MCP-ness sometimes...
3) list out 8 friends whom I hope to see them doing this in their blog too
Not many ppl read my blog and I think a lot of those who read probably dun have a blog. Hmm.. maybe I can name a few like huimin, liyong, joven, ailing, my sister, Jaclyn and and and... No more liao lah.. haha...
