I have learnt a couple of new stuff these few days. Nothing to do with school and work though. I am not paying attention to things in class already...
The first thing that i have learnt is that singapore is a damn small place... on tues, i went to receive my scholarship at a super ulu place in little india. And guess what? i met 2 frens there. The first one was a st john fren that i haven met in years.... I dun even keep her number anymore but she called my bf to get my number coz she tot she saw me. The second was a uni fren and we happened to be getting the same scholarship. Wed evening, i met a sec 4 fren while i was waiting for my dad along the road. And today, i met a st john fren when i was out for a movie with a fren. Singapore so small....
The second thing that i have learnt is the principle behind having a green and red screen during eye check. At first i thought it was only for astimatism. Yesterday, when i was checking my eyes again, i finally realised that it also help to check for over power and under power. The number was to check for over/under power and the circles help to check for astimatism. I have been wearing glasses since i was 8 years old and have been to so many eye checks and yet, i only learnt abt this today. Anyway, i like that optical shop. The ppl are friendly and the specs are not too ex. I shall return from now on.. hehe....
So many new things learnt... I read something today to do with lessons too: There is no regrets in life, only lessons learnt. Pretty nice right?
