Well... on 20th apr, I finally handed in my thesis and I am finally on my way to graduation. The process of writing my thesis was a damn tough one. For the first time, I finally understood how ailing felt like when she was doing her submission. The continuously-working-and-no-time-for-anything-except-to finish-the-work kind of feeling. I do not think I have ever worked so hard before. Not even studying for exams.
I started to do my report on Monday but somehow I think I was too slow. Or rather, I suddenly realized that I have hell lot of things to settle. Wed, I started on my results and to my horror, I realized that I have A LOT of data to handle. By that I am talking about like 7 gel photos and a total of more than 40 graphs to plot. Thanks for the invention of sigma plot and photoshop if not I will die.
In the end, I have no choice but to stay overnight in school on wed so that I can have access to sigma plot which was only installed in school computer and at the same time, to access all my data which are in school. I never knew I could work so hard. My day started from Wednesday at 10am and ended on Thursday at 11pm, with only 2hrs sleep in between. After this I really cannot take it and I went home to bath n sleep.
Then on Friday I realized that I still have a lot of things to edit. Sigh… rushed until I din even have time for lunch. My friend bought lunch for my and I ended up throwing the food away. I finally finished printing and editing at 630pm when the deadline was at 5pm. I really appreciated all my friends who were around to help me with the printing, punching of holes and organizing of my stuff. And I really have to thank Dr Sadler being so super understanding.
Now that the submission is finally over, the next thing up will be poster presentation and finally convocation on 23rd July. My undergraduate is ending soon. Somehow I feel sad to be leaving school. From today onwards, I can no longer write my occupation as student anymore. Sad sad…
